I have to ask the question, I light of todays anouncment, does alister darling know what he is doing?. How much is it going to cost us? the tax payer. He says he has to do it to save the economy, he says, but it is just moving vast amounts of money around.

I know he has to do something, but the point is, i am 55, and like many other people i hope to retire at 65. Is there going to be enough money in the pot for a pension?. Are future governments going to move the goal posts, and perhaps change the age at which men retire to say 70?. We are always the losers. As tax payers it would seem as if we do not have any choice in this big bail out of banks, they take the money and just keep it, there is so much unfairness.
